about
Nathalie Joyce (they/she) is a queer curandera descended from a long lineage of Afro-Cuban healers and Gallega meigas.
Their work is guided by ancestral wisdom, contemplative training, and clinical social work education. Nat has shared their healing gifts and leadership in community mental health clinics, hospitals, academic institutions, and most recently a health justice non-profit organization.
Nat devoted the early years of her career to Palliative Care, Oncology, and Hospice social work programs. This intimacy with death awakened Nat to an important truth: to love and to be loved well is what matters most. Nat combines this awareness with an ancestral commitment to healing justice in her current work.
Their magic comes most alive with people who are willing to radically transform intimate relationships, liberate generational patterns of oppression, and center embodiment.
Nat is a devoted student of plant medicine and Earth-based ancestral spiritual practices. She cherishes weaving the wisdom of plants and ancestral kindred into relational healing sessions and community offerings. Nat is known to bring radical love, unabashed joy, and deep sensitivity into all aspects of their life and work.
Nat is grateful to be in the practice of right relationship with the traditional homelands of the Nolwottog and Nipmuc Peoples where they mother, tend to our Earth, and love.
Collective liberation is only possible if we are in right relationship with ourselves, our beloveds, our ancestors, and our Earth.
