Psychotherapy
My lived and clinical experience with illness and death have led me to hold a contemplative framework in my work with people facing life’s most uncertain times. My practice is rooted in the belief that each of us are inherently whole and deserving of joy, freedom, and care. I integrate spiritual, somatic, relational, and social justice oriented perspectives into my therapeutic work.
I offer a variety of trauma informed contemplative practices to support the healing process such as mindfulness meditation, centering prayer, expressive movement, reflective writing, visualization, and ritual. I also integrate techniques from other types of therapy (Somatic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic etc.) when helpful to your healing.
