Death Midwifery Services
you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal;
to hold it
against your bones knowing your own life depends on it;
and, when the time comes to let it go,
to let it go.

A Note about Death Midwifery Services:
I offer death midwifery services to individuals and families that want to reclaim the wisdom of caring for our living and dying bodies. I believe that it is radical to engage in talking about death, planning for death, and being present when death arrives. As a death midwife I support and guide individuals and families during one of life’s most poignant natural processes. I collaborate with medical and caregiving providers to advocate for ethical and compassionate end of life and palliative care. My role is that of a witness and guide, rather than clinician. I integrate many types of practical knowing and integrative modalities that I have gathered throughout my training and lived experience. Ultimately, I create space with you as you navigate the great mystery of death.
